![]() ![]() ![]() This affects Windows 7 and 10 machines and I have a mix of laptop and desktop users. I have tried to change the card reader, updated drivers and BIOS, change USB ports for the card reader, updated the CAC software, I have checked the policies on the server (nothing popped out at me), gpupdate force, made sure Windows updates were current and still I have the issue. The only way to get around this is to have the user reboot. You can click on it on the Win7 machines but it keeps going back to a regular user name. ![]() Even if you attempt to switch user, it does not allow you to select the CAC card. For those that have a password it says you have to log into the system with the CAC. Basically they sign in just fine but after the machine locks it prompts them for a password and not their pin. So far I have not been able to dig up anything and I was hoping someone out there would have an answer or at least something to work with.Īt my office we use CAC cards but recently we have had a few of our users that are having a weird issue. I have been wracking my brain trying to find a solution to an issue I am having here in my office LAN. ![]()
